Practical Details
No prior coaching training is needed. We recommend you reflect on your current team's challenges and come with one or two real-life situations to explore during the class.
Certification
This course is taught by experienced team coaches who are also Scrum Masters. While there is no formal exam, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance from Scrum Facilitators, validating your advanced coaching skills.

- Is this different from the PSM training?
Yes. PSM focuses on the Scrum framework and mechanics. TC4SM focuses specifically on the soft skills, psychology, and coaching techniques needed to make that framework work effectively with people.
- Do I need to be a certified coach?
No. This is an "essentials" training designed to give you a strong foundation and actionable tools, regardless of your prior coaching experience.
- Will we practice coaching? Absolutely.
The day blends theory with practice. You will actively use coaching tools for observation, intervention, and reflection.
